Nothing again this morning at a different farm. Good temps this morning, I expected to see something. Suppose to warm up again this week, probably wait until Thursday to hunt again.

 

Nothing this morning.. I won't be back out until Thursday evening. I might have to pull a all dayer this coming weekend

Woke up sick as a dog... No motivation to go sit in a tree... Vacations cancelled for this week... Hopefully I can get off the 5-13th and get it done

Sorry to hear your sick.

 

I decided to change stands, I'm hunting deep in the woods and as I put my hand on the ladder 3 bucks jumped up 10yds away and ran.

 

Trying to get the little brother his first deer!!! Swing and a miss this morning hoping things turn out better this evening for him!! He shot under a spike but idk what he was thinking had a way nicer one in on the corn pile lol!!!

Had deer all around me in the dark this morning but once it turned light....nothing. Supposed to cool off later this week so hopefully that'll turn it on.

 

Was a good spot until I spooked them. I'm in the same stand where I shot my 142" 10p at 3:20pm 2 years ago.

 

I'll be out tomorrow morning!! We have a 20 degree drop in temps from today until tomorrow and another 15 degree drop in morning temps on Tuesday. I plan to hunt as long as I can tomorrow morning but will probably only make it until 10ish. We'll see!
I found a rub line right behind one of my tree stands, it's about 5 yards in between me and a pond, so hopefully I can get a shot if one doesn't slip behind me.

Well didn't see anything. My next hunt will be Thursday and Friday AM.

 

I have the one made by Hawke. Really nothing I would change.

 

Didn't see anything this afternoon. Think the does have found a new food source since the corn was chopped.

 

All I had come by were 2 fawns. I could hear a buck grunt but never did see him.

 

Live in the stand. White oak acorns still falling and a fresh set of tree rubs behind me. I'm going to sit as long as I can today
