Not much moving again this morning. I'll probably try to get an afternoon hunt in tomorrow. Having 2 hunts in a row with absolutely no deer is disconcerting.

I'm out for the evening hunt. 68° and windy.. not ideal... but it's what we were dealt..
And there's rain in the forcast for tomorrow morning.. so this site might be my last for the weekend...

I decided to hunt, 85f and about 10mph wind but I guess you can't hunt from the sofa. I'm sat over my small food plot of chicory and clover.

I'm going to go in the morning if the wind switches like they are forecasting it to.

Only saw one small doe. It ended pouring until after closing time. This was the first time using a tree umbrella and it was awesome. Left my stand and will hunt there tomorrow afternoon.

Ditto to your last content AZ, it's cloudy here! I like hunting with it cloudy much better than I do when it is sunny. Good luck guys!

I've been wanting to buy one for storms that sneak up. Which one do you have? And is there anything you'd change?

So I have 2 places I hunt, 1 is behind my house (10a) and the other is a farm (1000s a) which is a hr drive. If I have the day off I make the drive to get 2 sits in but if I am just working a late then I will hunt the AM behind my house. Yesterday was my day off and it was also youth season so I decided to let my friend take his kid to the farm and hunt and I decided to hunt at my house. Well at 6:08pm he txt me saying monster buck. Then nothing for 5 min. He calls me and tells me his son shot what he says is the biggest buck he has seen in person and was a 150"+ 10p with g2s about 20". He then tells me he shot him as he walked 10yds from the deer stand I have been hunting from all week and where I would have been sitting if it was not youth season. Talk about mixed emotions. Anyway he couldn't find any blood so I went over to the farm to help look and 5 of us looked for 2hrs and didn't find any blood so we think his son missed.

Me 2. After the shot he ran about 100yds before going into the woods and I was on my hands and knees looking and didn't see any blood and that was looking down a path we know he took. We also spread out and went about 100yds in the woods and we didn't find any signs
