vermontwhitetail Congrats on the buck buddy, he's sure got some neat features! Stayed from 11:30 till dark and saw zippo till I walked out. The Island of bush I'm in as I walked around the corner there happened to be 2 does feeding. Saw me and jumped the fence and proceeded to get shot by someone using shotguns. I guess there happy I pushed them over to them, scared the hell out of me though. Happened to be real heavy fog all day, thought for sure they would be moving. Back out Friday all day. Rocky
Hey guys. Hope everyone's season is going well. Haven't been on as much as I would have liked but been busy with work. Then part of my world ended Monday as I lost my dad unexpectedly. I'm still a little shaken up but he went doing what he loved, hunting. No accident while hunting or anything like that, just life taking its course. My season ends Sunday so I probably won't but one on the scorecard for us but my dad was out looking for a bear so I might have a little unfinished business to resolve there. Looks like an All Day Sit in The AM Going to try an all dayer tomorrow, should try 1/2 dayer's 1st but I half to go with full day's! Hope I have the staying power folk's Wish me luck. Rocky
Had a rough evening yesterday guys. I shot a doe and couldn't find her. We searched for hour last night in some of the thickest cover I've ever been in. Had good blood at impact and even had blood spraying 4 1/2 feet high on corn stalks. I didn't start my track until almost 4 hours later. I found several spots where she bedded and got up. I hate losing a deer!
I sat all day and never saw a peep, sorry I did see a mouse in my blind ,rained all day so I left at 4pm just in case it was going to snow but it didn't. They should start chasing next week. I only hope, gets pretty boring in a blind all by yourself with no Internet! LOL Rocky
