You handled it great, but this is why I don't and never will have Facebook or any other type of social media that I actually post stuff on (except for here I guess). People are way to quick to give their opinion and judge others. It's too bad.
The only social media I post pics of dead deer on is here, not likely to find an argument here. I usually don't pose with the buck but this year will be different we will see who gets it.
Handled well. Also would of added herd control and preserving land for all animals ,so land isn't sold for ,housing ,and business. I don't post no kill picks on facebook or Instagram. I even have to try and hide animals from the wife ,as she doesn't like me bring home dead birds.
Is this your public facebook, or are you just sharing things like this with people you already know are anti-hunting? I mean, eviccarone is hot, but it doesn't sound like she'll be joining you in the stand anytime soon.
Well done! When asked about hunting, I always reply, "So, when did you become a vegan?" Most people get it after that.
Nice job, but I take the opposite view of most I guess. I'm going to post picks of deer and pheasant, etc on Facebook. I want to promote hunting. Not hide it from view. Anti's are not going to be changed either way.
I think you handled it really well! Kudos to you! I'm glad I don't live in an area or state where I often see anti-hunters. Hunting and killing animals is apart of how I grew up. My family knows why I hunt. They are actually more surprised to hear that I didn't kill a deer. Or I haven't been hunting. Such is life.
Your response shows maturity and a true understanding of hunting that some never achieve. I would be glad to have you as a hunting partner and I suspect that your family is very proud of you - you have your s#*% together young man! Hunt on!
In the future just make sure your postings on Facebook are fair and balanced. Post one picture of your kill and then post a photo of a nice little old lady buying some hamburger or steak from a grocery store
