Yeah, I'm using an iPhone 6 so it's not the camera. But we walked along the road to see if he made it accosts and we found good blood at the road, but no permission to go on other side. Trying to get ahold of land owner. This sucks
This is good advice, but it sounds like he didn't do that. It's been my experience that a gut shot deer will bed rather quickly if not pursued. I would have turned around and left those woods. Good luck.
Most likely this is going to end in a new thread where the OP is going to get ripped. Going after a buck that you know is gut shot is just piss poor plain and simple.
This cannot be considered a mistake. He was given sound advice and he chose to ignore it. If he loses the buck, it is completely on him and hopefully he will learn his lesson ... but I doubt it
We need some action this afternoon. I'm heading to work tonight for my last 5 day shift before my vacation starts on Friday. I need to know some killers are in the woods this week so my nights go by a lot faster!
Going to try and get out this week to early vote. Not going to waste part of my rutcation for this election lol One more work week and I'll finally get out in the woods. Just not sure how many have already been hunting, might not have done me any good staying out the month of October.
I wish I were in your shoes, I'm forced to hunt this week instead of next. It's a bit early yet, but I'll make the best of it. I have gotten a few small bucks in daylight on my cams, so we'll see what happens. I'll post updates as the week goes on.
