Was getting out of the stand at 10:30. Saw nothing all morning. I lower my bow down. I'm still in the stand. Doe comes out of no where. Me in stand with no bow and doe at 15 yards. I have the worst luck. It had no clue I was there until I got the bow back up and the clip made a noise

That's what I was hoping to hear from a Pa guy! I'm forced to hunt all next week, instead of the first week of Nov, so I'm hoping for some kind of pre-rut activity.

Sounds like they're moving pretty good. Hopefully it stays this way. Tomorrow is my first day of the 2016 season. I can't wait.

20161022_084654.jpg my 7 yr ond daughter and i were sitting on the ground when 2 young buck came out. One walked within 10 to 15 ft straight at us when she got nervous and pointed at it and it ran 3o yards and then came back. She now loves hunting. She actually woke me up this morning to go.

I shot this small 8 point last night but he's really old(5.5-6.5) so he's a good cull. When field dressing him I realized he had nipples and testicles like doe/ buck, has anyone seen this or no what this is?

Back on stand for the evening, it was a bust this morning. Checked camera and my no.1 buck just came back. Hoping this cold front gets him moving a little earlier!

Looks like my shot this morning must have hit the shoulder joint, we lost blood grid searched found some blood then lost blood again and grid searched, hate this feeling but I know I gave all I could to find her we believe we jumped her at the end, looked all over where she was bedded and where she ran to and there was 0 blood so I think she'll be okay. My buddy got it done down in NC with his rifle though, his second deer ever

In for the evening sit. I found this scrape 25 yards from my stand. It wasn't there when I put the stand out six weeks ago. Wind is good for tonight. Fingers crossed ssomething comes by to freshen it up. Picture isn't great but it is roght in the middle. Sitting on an oak ridge top about 150 yards back from the food.

Just got set up for first time in about 2 weeks. Really kicking myself for not goin this morning but already had plans to move couple stands and do some other stuff. Oh well I'm out here now. Warmed up little bit but it's pretty nice day. Good luck everybody
