Monster at 20. Buck I have shed from last year. No shot. Grunted as he was heading away, but nothing. Can't stop shaking.

The neighbor is scaring deer towards me. He just bleated 6 successive times and then grunted a bunch. About 20 minutes before that, he had the antlers out, and he was rattling something fierce. I mean he had to have broken tines it was so obnoxious. And no, the coughing and hacking and choking never stopped. This guy must be all kinds of slow

Well this sucks. I found the military crest I found a run on it, but it's nothing that makes me want to say yes I have to hunt here ASAP. There are no signs of scrapes, the only robs I saw were ones from years past for five years old, the only fresh ones were on a little saplings. I'll check back here in a few years. Now for the long walk back to the car.

Edit: no signs of any other hunters anywhere. No old dilapidated boards or anything. The only way to get this deep isto walk. I think a doomsday prepped lives out here.... Hopefully I don't see anyone naked and afraid LOL

Back at the car. Just in time. Coming from the south. I'm actually gonna take a walk down to the shelf that I've been hunting to see if any of the scrapes got opened up last night or this morning.

Well I came back in for the morning. There's no question that buck was 140, and for PA, that is awesome. To get that close was such a rush. Only thing that would have made it better was slinging an arrow.

Thanks guys, she came by with a couple other does and 2 fawns. They were in some thick stuff, but had one little opening and made it count. She's definitely a slob!

Well my daughter might have out smarted me. Had a doe come in right at shooting light and I was thinking this is going to be a great morning. Then 2 tractors pulled up on the field and started knifing pig **** in the field 15 minutes later.
