Isn't that how it always works. I'm going to get a daytime activated dripper and see if I can pull them out during the day

Boys...I'm headed out at 4. I'm going to hunt the field that big boy was in last night and cross my fingers. I'm not a fan of field hunting but, there is a first for everything! Good luck to everyone tonight and tomorrow!

Came up with a 0. 2.5 hours in the pouring rain. Loved it the whole time, just wanted to see some deer though!

Had one walking on me at dark but haven't seen a thing. 41 degrees and lite wind. Even squirrels are quiet

Based on all the fresh tracks, I was in a good spot, but not a great spot? Maybe a better spot now? Up here for the long haul ImageUploadedByBowhunting.com Forums1477163786.779554.jpg

Alright team I could use your help.

If you remember back in September, one of my properties I hunt was logged. My stands were already in place. I've found that the tops left behind have completely shut down my pinch point and the deer are not using it like normal. Plus my stand is not hidden good anymore. I've tried hunting it but it needs to relocate.

Should I leave it alone this year and not stir up the area, or be aggressive and find deer sign and set up.

This property is closest to home and allows me more hunts.

I saw two at 80 this morning, my buddy saw 9 including two bucks and shot a doe. I'm hunting back in the swamp this afternoon, tons of fresh sign (impressive for the rain we got)

I assume they spend more time out of the swamp now due to the water levels being much higher. Flooded them out in theory

Guys - Was out yesterday afternoon into dark. Finally started seeing some deer! Kicked 5 while checking cams...4 doe and a big buck. All within 10 minutes and 300 yards of each other. Bummer on my timing.

At dark, I had two...what I thought were doe come to my shooting lane. Turned out to be two spikers. So glad I noticed the horns before full draw. For a minute I though I was going to watch a lighted nock find it's target. Next time!

Had this guy on one cam. With it were not in the middle of the night.
