I recently found some old bottles of deer pee that came with my original bow set, like 8+ years ago. I stuffed them away and forgot about it. I do have up to date pee I bought last month at Cabelas, so I am good there. Nothing like buying pee. Anyway, if I use the old pee, will it work? Will it be a bad scent and scare off what little deer roam around? Does pee have an expiration date? I don't see one on the bottles. I updated a part of the post people seem to be missing. wink wink
Pry open that wallet...pull out a 10 and go buy a fresh jar if you want to use pee Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
I was going through my gear and tossed out some bottles that are two years old, I'd rather spend a couple bucks for new ones than take a chance of these smelling weird now and keeping deer away.
Pee in a bottle. Use that……………….. 25yrs ago in ny i was hunt freezing. I had to go bad but didn't wanna give up the hunt. So I thought i'd write my name in the leaves from 25 ft. up. I finished up writing and barely had time to put the 1 pointer away and i heard a commotion from below me. It was a 6 pointer. He came charging up the hill right to my signature. He actually ran up to my leave stained ground got down and began to roll in it. Just like a dog rolling in a dead animal there he went. ………… moral of the story Me 69 larry ME 69.
I don't know what you said here but I like it. By chance, Are you the assistant football coach on the "Water Boy" movie? I kid!
Did you not read my post? I posted I already bought pee for this season. I stumbled across these & thought I'd ask before I through them out.
I would pour some on a scrape and see if the deer leave it or keep coming in. Deer smell bad stuff all the time and every new smell does not send them to the "high and uncut timber ". They will learn a scent means danger given time.
Don't mind Sota, he only chimes in with snide remarks and hes always right Loose the old pee and good luck this season !!
I think it would work but the deer that come to it are going to be to old to want to harvest, lost horns and no teeth.
