This is possibly my favorite method of bowhunting. I killed 2/3 deer last year (including my buck) on first sits, and on unfamiliar land. I studied topo maps and satellite photos, grabbed my bow and climber, and off we went. The one suggestion I would add to what's already posted, is to get your hands on that climber as soon as possible. If you've never used one, you'll want to get familiar with it. It's not hard at all, but you'll need stealth on your side. You don't want to deal with any possible "learning curve" during the hunt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
virginiashadow marked the spots I would recommend. The saddle and the top of the ridge ot the north of it. Looks like the top of the that ridge is where a long ridge that runs SE to NW converges with another ridge. Looks like an awesome spot. Good luck!
