I have these 2 bucks coming pretty regularly. Was wondering what you guys thought the age of the first buck is? He wont score well at all but hes a unique deer .
That first buck is a tank. He's not much in the rack department but his body is enormous. Hard to be certain but he's probably 4+
I would say at least 4.5 maybe 5.5 for first buck and 3.5 for second one. Are these U.P. or northern lower?
These are in northern lower. We are one of the counties that has point restrictions (3+ on one side) and I can really tell its been working. For a public land buck to be older than 2.5 is really rare here. I was thinking he was 4.5
The first buck could be 7 yo +. He looks really, really old. His eyes, swayed back, and chest just look "old." Not to mention his rack has that kind of shriveled look to it that really old bucks get. 2nd is most likely a 2.5 year old. We have quite a few in that age range with similar appearances and hardware. I hunt in Isabela County.
