Best wind direction for this stand placement?

    i agree with west wind, assuming the deer are most likely to be seen in the corn. hunt with wind in your face. look for trails or if you know where they travel, again hunt with the wind in your face. but also don't assume that downwind deer will smell you...if you're up in a tree and you master your scent control and get lucky, you might get away with shooting a downwind deer. Also winds might change or thermals might change wind direction during your hunt.
