Does anyone shoot these ? Do you have any issues with them my son's and wife just bought me 2 packs of these just wondering how they fly and how they penetrate and the blood trails they leave and input would be great thanx.
I bought a pack and they flew great for a dozen shots or so and then started hitting far right. The blades were opening in flight. Could have been just a bad head but I just stuck with my fixed blades.
I switched to them this year, and shot a doe last week and she was dead within 50 yards, great entry and exit holes, pretty good blood trail. For the money, I think they perform great
Cool thanx yeah I didn't go out and buy them they were a present and I needed some new heads anyways but I'm going to try them out tom and see how they fly and hit my target.
They fly great for me hadn't had the chance for the meat test yet tho. As for that type of target I'm not sure they come out of a block easily tho
I killed a deer with one last year and they worked great. Perfect pass through at 35 yards, deer ran 100 yards and died. Blood trail was easy to follow. The Slingblade is basically the same head as the new DoubleCross, just without the added bleeder blades.
Shot my buck this year with them. 38 yards quartering away. Through the cavity and into the far shoulder, could feel the point sticking out when I ran my fingers over it. I also have an extra 50 grains of brass up front. Collapsed at 70 yards good blood.
Wondering from someone who has been shooting NAP broadheads for a while...which do you prefer? The slingblade type opening like a double cross or the killzones?
