Sorry haven't been on lately due to being too busy. We have a cold front that moved in yesterday...got down to 30 last night. Wish I could be in the stand this weekend, but I am down in Illinois for my wife's 20yr class reunion. Good luck to all you guys getting out this weekend.
Congrats WideRack! I hunted most of the day yesterday and had a pretty good day. Ended up seeing 2 shooter bucks, both north of 120, one might push 140. Neither were close enough but within 80 yards. Didn't see a doe all day, had a couple fawns come in twice but no momma. I nearly took the button buck rather than shooting a doe, I might still. For you guys that are smarter than I, are we expecting an early rut this year? I saw a hand full of scrapes and like I said both sets of fawns were without mommas. Seems a bit early for that maybe? Daddy duties for me today, might slip out tomorrow afternoon.
