Dawg I'm running 3 2015 code blacks. My buddy I hunt with out there has 2 code blacks also and a HCO Spartan. We haven't had an problems with them. They come in handy when you live 3.5hrs away from where you're hunting.

I have four Covert's two old MPE 6's and two old MP 8's! I also have two Bushnell Black Out's! Looking to upgrade a couple but still use all but one! I had one of my MP 8's go totally under water twice now. First time still worked and still drying out from second time but this time the batteries leaked out so I am not holding my breath this time. LOL The pictures of the Heron with the frog in the mouth came from the second drowning! Glad the memory card still worked.

I have 1 Covert... 2 Cudde Attacks, and 2 of the new Cudde's (E3 Maybe)
NY opens on Sat 10/1, but the MA youth hunt is the same day. I will be taking my daughter Sat... so I won't get out until Sunday AM most likely... unless she kills in am and then i'll slip out Sat afternoon.

Got good news this afternoon. Not working Sunday! Rain and thunderstorms in the forecast, so I may stay home and drink beer.

Western there is nothing better than enjoying it with your kids. My kids have all lost interest so now when the granddaughter gets older I will be working on her. LOL

Just got back from running the camera line. Not a whole lot to report. Lots of does as usual. Also I have a serious coyote issue. This winter I will need to get out there and start killing them.

Rain held off so far. Managed to hunt a couple hours this morning and I'm back out ahead of a cold front this afternoon. Haven't seen anything yet.

Good luck rbhunting, hopefully something comes through.
Hoping to get out this week at least once or twice. Been seeing a fork and spike almost every night close to the house before dark. Getting tempting to sneak out and drop one. If the nice ones hadn't been showing up on cam when they had I wouldn't think twice. Hopefully we can get a cold spell sometime too. Doesn't look like near freezing for at least the two week forecast.

Saturday is youth hunt. Saturday is also opening day of NY.
Checked cams this weekend... lots of does in one spot... the huge 8 and big 10 have been around daily in the other spot. Last light or after dark, but they are there!!!!
    NY is full of does...
Going to take my daughter on youth hunt in AM to only decent AM spot.. lots of does.. she has an either or tag, so that may be it... otherwise, i'll take her in after the big 10 or 8 that afternoon... fingers crossed.
I'll start Sunday and am planning on shooting the first deer I see...

No luck yesterday. Didn't see anything. I heard one blow about 30 minutes before sundown but it was upwind and quite aways off. I was hunting in the edge of town. Anything could have spooked her.

Going to through a stand up tonight for late season, also going to set a couple of cameras. Saturday is looking promising with the winds and cool weather, I've got the perfect wind for my best spot.

Bad news guys! One of my better spots is two separate landowners but the properties join together to make 200 acres. Well one of the landowners is having the property logged this fall, so I have to pull stands Saturday. I'm going to move them over to the remaining 120 which should be excellent hunting because all of the deer will run to the other property for cover. So it's bad situation but could also work out pretty good.

But I'm not terribly worried, I have over 1000 total acres to hunt around here, so I should be just fine!
