    I'd do basically the same thing this land owner did. I've done it many times with trespassers coming through, don't know that any of them were there to steal anything other than game by poaching but that's bad enough. I am not a happy customer when a trespasser walks under me sitting in a deer stand.

    I'm lucky enough to live in a state that has some pretty harsh laws for trespassers and thieves... If they are caught in the act of destroying your property or stealing it you have the right to shoot!!!! not saying I would have killed this man for just walking in my food plot but you better believe he would have heard a shot to the ground near him before he would have heard my voice.... make him think twice about ever walking on the property again!

    I was once the person trespassing, I was hunting public land and got mixed up where I was and went on another mans land and he saw me, he was pretty harsh on me at first until I started talking to him and told him what happened. I was very polite and apologized. After talking to him, I offered to take him out for beer for the trouble I caused and we became friends and I hunt his property now.
