It was so hot this morning, but after the sun came up the temp dropped some. Ending up seeing 3 does around 8 am. To far for a shot
I wanted to go, but I knew if I did I'd shoot something. And I wasn't up for the rush of trying to get a deer broke down and cool when it's this hot. Most likely I'll go Monday. Good luck if you head out tonight or tomorrow!
My bow has a cracked limb (just happened a week ago and is in the shop now) and on top of that I threw out my back trying to teach my son how to do somersaults. Good thing it's this hot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good luck Ruger & Holt. Temps look cooler tomorrow. I'll be working around the house and waiting on an appointment (security system guy). Thurs / Fri looks cooler too but I may not be able to swing two days off with Monday off as well.
Tried to go to one of my sure thing doe spots this afternoon. Another tree fell on my tree sometime recently and I had to scramble to plan b. Kicked up a big doe coming in here but she didn't blow or go flying through the woods. She actually ran right at me and crossed my path about 10 yds in front of me. Kinda weird.
Seeing alot of deer, just not the one I'm after. May try and take a doe tonight if the right opportunity happens. With this cool front and east wind tonight I know the deer will be moving, east winds are always golden for me!

Put two cameras up yesterday. Humidity in the woods was oppressive. I was going to set up a mock scrape but that idea when to hell since I was sweating so much. Really getting tired of 80+ degree days in September. Seems like the last couple of years or so have been like this.
How's everyone doing? I will be heading out for the first time Monday. Have some minor adjustments to make to tomorrow and I'll be all set. Hopefully, something will come by. Weather looks good too.
