If you look at it that way, I could just widdle my own arrows out of a stick in the woods while hunting. You might as well just leave the bow at home and strangle them with your bare hands.
Really appreciate the honest thoughtful feedback and insight. I have noted each of these and am happy I'm not far off. My 8 year old son and I had a really good time scouting our tree stand placement today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My first year I had just the basics, bow broadheads release and tags and of course drag rope. You can make a lot of the extras for little to nothing. You did yourself a solid by getting the climber. My first year with one too but the possibilities seem endless Sent from my SM-N930T using Tapatalk
Negative Ghost Rider. Human pee will attract deer "FACT". I conducted the experiment with my trail camera. I had a large buck visit for several days after peeing on top of my pee. Let it go with a flow, but be mindful of the sound it makes.
If you shoot with a release, get an extra one to keep in your pack. I have done this for years and a couple of times I have arrived at my stand and forgot my release or have dropped it out of my stand but I had the extra release to fall back on. And my backup/extra release is just like the one I use all of the time
Haha welllllll technically if you widdled your own arrows you would still need legal broadheads depending on your states laws. And strangling a deer with your bare hands is just wreckless!
When I think I have everything, I tend to find something to buy to make the experience a little better. Or at least I tell myself that.
Foldable hand saw especially if you are using a self climber...gotta get the little limbs out of the way
After 20+ years of exclusively bowhunting, I've broken it down to this list: The link for Hunters., HUNTERSlink.com GREG'S BLOG And don't carry a bottle to pee in... waste of time and all you're gonna do is spill it somewhere or on you at some point.
