I'll hopefully be getting a new bow in the next couple months and I think I have it narrowed down to two bows...Mathews Creed and Mathews z7.

Which bow did/do you prefer and why ?

It's all personal preference man shoot both and see which feels better to you. It is that simple, I would never buy a bow I couldn't shoot first. That actually made it a pain this spring as I am a lefty and no local shops carried all the models I wanted to try out

I had the z7 and then the creed... now a Halon... the z7 was one of the finest bows I've ever shot. I like it much better than the Creed, personally...
but like said above, try to shoot both and you will know which is the bow for you.

I have a z7 extreme and don's see me getting rid of it. I like the shorter riser on it for blind hunting and it's smooth and about as quite as them come.

same here, Z7 extreme. Bought it fall of 2010 and 6 years later still get a kick picking it up to shoot. truly a fun bow to hunt with and shoot. have not shot the creed so can't comment on it.

I have never shot a Creed, but I have 4 Bows...2014 Hoyt Faktor 30...2013 Hoyt Spyder 30...2011 Mathews Z7...2010 Mathews Z7...I will be starting my season off with the 2010 Z7, great shooting Bow.
