Moral of the story. If you're ever at Coppers and he offers you some Ice water out of a coke bottle. Dont accept it.
Until my processor had a 24/7 walk in for drop offs at all times of the night...I had this issue A tarp and bags of ice in the cavity and on the inside of the hams seemed to work. The liter bottles of ice mentioned above may be a better idea
Quater it and throw in the cooler like most others but i usually cut it up the next day ive found if i let the meat sit for a day or two then dbone and cut it up and freeze it that it doesnt stay good as long. But thats my opinion
thanks everyone. I was able to score a older freezer that works. I had it on for a while with a wireless thermometer in it. IT gets around 32 at the highest setting. I figure it will work to cook it down. Oh and after I bought the freezer my bow limb broke.... off to the repair shop and hopefully get it back this week. hope this is not foreshadowing what my season is going to be like.
