    Just curious on Greg's bull...did bull come into calling? Or was he stand hunting? Still hunting?

    Always curious to know how others are getting it done on elk...it's never easy.

    He was in a stand over a wallow but the bull did come in to a cow call. He actually shot it as it thrashed a pine. I'm sure he will tell the story when we return to civilization. Not much service except way up on the mtn.
    I had 3 bulls come in last night. None were legal :(

    Know little of elk hunting....so anything which has a 5 inch brow is legal?

    Yes a spike has to have a 5" brow OR the spike itself has to be less than 5" which is considered antler less kinda like a BB. Otherwise a Bull must have 4 pts on at least one side.
