I currently shoot the gold tip extreme hunter 55/75 Arrows but I only shoot them because they are the cheapest ones at shotgun sports. What are the best arrows to shoot for knock down power. I'm not too worried about speed

I shoot Victory Vaps. They penetrate very well for me.

The best arrow would be the best match for your bow and draw weight. The arrow doesn't possess knockdown power. The animal dies from hemorrhaging as a result of a well placed sharp broadhead.

I shoot the Gold Tip XT 5585. My guy at our local bow shop recommended them to me and they have worked great for me. I've never shot a different arrow though, so I can't say they're any better or worse than anything else.

I shoot goldtip xt hunters. I feel their grain per inch matches up well with the arrow weight I want. In reality though I feel the make up of an arrow changes very little from brand to brand.

For hard hitting, I'd say Easton FMJ and second Easton ACC

I switched to the fmj 6mm this year, still a heavy arrow at 10.2 gpi but small diameter for penetration. I think that combo is gonna have serious pass thru power. Just a comparison, my brother in law and i have the same bow with same poundage and he is shooting GT arrows, mine were penetrating a good 4" deeper or more while we were shooting

Uhhh knock down power??? It's not a rifle...you need some accurate poke through power. I prefer Victory arrows. I've shot Eastons, Carbon express and Black Eagles in the past. Victory RIP or VAPs are great arrows. They have been very consistent and accurate for me. I have some RIPs that weigh 460 grains with high like 16% FOC with Easton HIT inserts + VPA footers that will poke through about anything. The difference between the Victory and Black Eagles vs Easton and Gold tips is the GPI for spine. You can build a faster artow or a heavy arrow with higher FOC.

Arrow choice is fairly personal. For example my preference is a heavier arrow, I shoot Easton 5mm fmj, 340 spine (11.2gpi) with 100 grain nap killzone maxx. All in its 475grains with a luminok. I've shot 350 grain arrows (gold tip hunter xp) and my bow def. shoots tighter groups with the heavier arrows. Plus it seems quieter. I will also say fmjs take a beating, I use them with 100gr Carbon express small game shocker tips in the spring and summer on gophers and have yet to ruin an arrow (even shooting into gravel from time to time)

I shoot the easton carbon nemesis and I like them alot, they hit hard and fly straight. If u were looking for the best out there IMO whatever Flys the straigtest is the best. Personal preference all day

I shoot the Nemesis also out of my Arena 30, it's my pig bow, like said above they hit hard & fly straight. Just this week end had a complete pass through on a 150# pig at 53yrds. Also shoot the FMJ's out of my Nitrum Turbo weight in at 517gr then the Easton Flatline's out of my Spyder 30 for deer.
