People are too concerned about shooting something with antlers - I really hate the shows that have kids hunting especially, the fathers want them to kill a buck so bad it doesn't matter if it's a Spikey they just want to kill any buck.
I would rather my kids shoot a doe; as I would shoot one myself. I have a family of four and I hate store bought meat. With the the steroids and such I would rather kill for meat than trophy. The only exception is if it's a big buck that I would want to mount. Other than that it doe doe doe. Lol
QDMA supports young hunters in their harvest no matter what it is...even their website and social media at times is flooded with young deer with huge grinning kiddos. The old buck or nothing jab people like to take at the QDMA is just not true to the degree some accuse it of.
