Nice dmen, have fun! heck of a weekend planned

And I think we could make a run for it, I should be able to back up whatever I get with a doe, which I feel goes a long way in the contest.

I'm getting a new bow next week. A new bow automatically equals a huge buck, right? The advertising says so.

My setup and future setup is in my signature.

I currently draw 29" at somewhere between 60-65#. I never measured it for sure.

The draw cycle on the Synergy I so smooth that I may leave it maxed out at 70ish. I also might go to a 29.5" draw since that is an option now. With my Jennings, 29 feels a little short and 30 is a touch long.

When I test shot it, I asked the guy if it was set at 60 and he said no its bottomed out at about 72. Surprised the heck out of me.

What kind of strings are you getting, Jboldrey?

I have a Hoyt carbon element G3 29/65. QAD rest, b stinger and HHA sight. I shoot FMJ's and probably going to use the rage hypo's this year, but that is still up for debate. Would be my first year using mechanicals.

Hoyt Vector turbo lefty 28.5" maxed at 60#. Shot Rage last year, hoping to go back to Muzzy 's 3 blade 100's but haven't tried them w/ the new set up.

My bow specs are in my sig...

Backup bow is a Bowtech Carbon Knight and the backup's backup is an old PSE Carrera.

Anybody here ever use the Wasp Jak-Hammer? I'm not a big fan of mechanicals but this one has tempted me for a couple years.

I love Muzzy's but had trouble getting my last bow tuned w/ them. Got lazy and went the mechanicals but wasn't impressed w/ the performance. I drilled a doe, she ran 10 yards and stood there. Put another one thru her at a steeper angle and she still went 100 yrds.

Im shooting a Parker python 3 years old but was never sold so I got it new for cheap, somewhere around 65lbs, 28in DL. I shoot the muzzy trocar 3 blades and like them but haven't tuned them in yet on the new bow, I need to re-fletch my arrows first.

I have been shooting Rage 2blade w/ the wider blade on the end 100 gr. I have killed 4 deer w/ them in the past 2 years but was not impressed when I put two thru an 80lb doe. And I was shooting a Ultratec set @65# on a 31" arrow.

I got 2 stands hung and checked a cam before the heat (103° index) started to kick my butt. I finally have a big boy showing up, but the batteries died a week into a month soak.

I don't recognize the big dude and the 3 year olds might be in trouble if they walk by my stand...

I got another stand, cam and dripper put up today, since we were rained out of work. I apparently put the dripper over a ground hornet nest and didn't realize it until they were stinging my back. Good times in the woods!
