I would almost always agree with you. In this case I just need an entry level lefty bow for my daughter. Not even sure she will shoot it. She has a righty bow that she has shot the last few years and all of a sudden she has become left eye dominant and can no longer close her left eye to shoot righty like she always has. I want to pick up a bow for her to try and let her figure out how she wants to continue shooting. If she prefers lefty and is gonna stick with it then I will get here a new bow.
I have an PSE Stinger left handed if you want it. Might be too much poundage but its yours for your daughter for nothing. Let me know
It is crazy....my Mission Venture I'll probably let go soon I was gonna just ask $200 for...then I look up and see fellas asking $400 and higher for em!?! Guess mine will sell quick haha!
Would it almost be worth simply buying a Mission bow? They are great prices and solid specs. Cannot believe the bare bow costs sometimes...finding a lefty though may be tough.
Right? I will always have to be sole supplier of karma with a bow. What if the previous owner wounded multiple deer and never recovered them, that is bad juju.
I crap on bad juju...my 2nd hand Elite I have a special feeling is gonna down the biggest buck to date this year for me...well I hope! LOL!
I know what you mean Ty. I sold my Creed fully loaded (6 arrows, T5 Quiver, QAD HDX Rest, Axion 6in Stabilizer and 4 month old bow string) for $600 back in April. Guy was getting into hunting and wanted to make him a good deal. ( Be a Blessing when you can) I can't understand why people want every $ they spent back. Unrealistic! I bought my Halon 6 NIB with Web HD Quiver and QAD HDX rest for $1100 out the door and people want $1200 for a used Heli'M. Really? They are dreaming Ferg!
Same thing here! Recently sold my Mission Eliminator fully loaded with arrows and everything. People we selling similar sets for $450-500 and I let mine go for $300. Someone will be able to use it and get more out of it and that's worth more to me than an extra $100.
Generally, people overprice used bows. Let it sit and they should come down. Like the others have said, most of the guys who know bows price them more reasonably. I look pretty hard before I bite on a used bow.
It has been several years ago that I sold my Outback. It was fully loaded with hard case and a dozen brand new arrows. I actually did it through ebay. That way I could answer questions and let them decide the price. It worked out very well. The person that won the bow seemed to be very excited. The main reason I went that way was I wasn't very familiar with craigslist at the time.
