That was my second guess! Yeah I'm in Baltimore county on the Howard county line. I do a lot of hunting up at prettyboy reservoir since I grew up there. There's a couple other WMAs / CWMAs that I try to hunt also. There was one in Eldersburg off of Slacks road that was fantastic but they took it out of the program two or three years ago. Always saw deer there. Such a shame.
Good idea on the name. I have no idea on a team captain. What does the captain even do? I'd vote for whoever has entered this contest in the past that could make sure do it right. Hey guys, checking in. My name is stephen and I'm from South Carolina. Our season actually started monday the 15th. My father in law got a nice 8 pt. Ill be hunting mainly in SC but have a trip planned for Illinois and Mexico for whitetail too!
I've been captain the past 3 or 4 years for the teams I've been on. Not much to it really, basically what Ghilie said plus nagging on members to get their photos taken and entered That is truly the most frustrating part. I will be Captain if no one else wants it, if someone else wants to do it, you have my vote I encourage all members of the team with a smartphone to download a camera timer app that can take multiple pics spaced a few seconds apart. Prop the phone up on something, set the timer and get back to bow and deer for 3-5 pics. Bound to be two different ones. Contest entries don't need to be glamorous or magazine quality. Big Terentino fan so only name I can think of at the moment is The Fateful 8
I've done my time as a captain in a previous year. Perfectly happy to vote for cls74 or let someone new take the role pending anyone wants it. I was trying to think of a way to spin "The hateful 8" earlier and I will put a vote in for "The Fateful 8". I like it.
My season doesn't start till Oct. 1 and I have a wedding that day. Ill still be hunting no matter what. I also like Fateful 8.

I vote CLS since he has experience and The Fateful 8 sounds good....there's 12 of us but I think we mean we are the Fateful (Team) 8. Sounds more intimidating than Fitz is My Father or LookatDoes,lol.
I’m fine with CLS being captain too. Like Travis and Ghilie, I’d like to incorporate the number 8 into the name. Assassin8 and Domin8 are two that come to mind. Once we get the name figured out I’ll work on an Avatar and an image to put in our signature. A few years ago I made the images for Nocked ‘N’ Locked when we won back to back. -D
I kinda like the Hateful 8 as a team name, so it's got my vote. Clinton(CLS), if you are good with being captain, you have my vote as well. If you would prefer not, I've been in this contest for the past 5 years so I will not have problem doing it. Like it's been said, making sure we have all members checked in reminding everyone to get 2 pics posted in a timely manner. Not sure what everyone's phone capabilities are but the teams I have been on in the past have used Groupme as a means to communicate throughout the season. It is basically a group message board you can post anything from messages to videos.
