Anybody starting any yet or going to within the next few weeks? I'm thinking about getting one going at a spot where I normally don't see bucks until late October pre Rut into November so I think I'm gonna give it a try with the tinks again this year. Season before last I had some luck with them hitting it around mid October so it want her to try it here in August.

I'm going to start one in a few weeks. I'm going to check the cams at the end of this month for the last time, freshen up the mineral sites, change cards and start the scrape drip and leave it all to settle.

I see the Tinks runs for about 1 week. That's my only dilemma. I want it to settle down and not go back in for a bit.

Any drippers out there that last longer?

    What do you guys do?

Take a look at these ;-) Drop it or crush it on the scrape and will last up to 8 weeks depending on weather.

I don't think I'll start mine until 1st week of October. I've put them out earlier and didn't get any pics.

I will be getting mine out within the next couple of weeks. No deer pee ever, just a good pre-orbital scent such as Smokeys.

do these have to be crushed or can they just be left on the ground? I've often thought it would be helpful to have a scent tab of some sort that could be fired from a slingshot against a tree or into a brushy area to add an attractant to an area that I didn't want to risk disturbing by walking in it. might have to see how these might be used for that...if not shot in a slingshot, maybe just thrown.

They don't have to be crushed, really a number of ways you can use it. Cut it, peel it, crush it, rub it on branches, etc.

I just picked up a dripper today. I got the Wildlife Magnum on sale at ****s for $15.99. I'm going to give it a go and put it out first week in September and keep refreshing and see how it goes.

I thought I would do an experiment this year and put one out in the beginning of July, I have had pictures of bucks checking it out and hitting the licking branch below it pretty hard at least weekly if not more often than that for over a month and a half now. They like the tinks there's no denying that

Wildlife Research drippers definitely last a lot longer than the Tinks.

I'm gonna go check it this weekend and fill it back half way so idk I'm curious if it's still dripping but like other have mentioned the key is to get the bucks to work it to the point that they just use it then they do all the dripping lol that's my strategy also
