Perks of having a wife that hunts I just pass the stuff I want to keep down to her and she doesn't realize I have so much stuff . She loves shooting my old helim, and shoots it very well
So stupid I keep upgrading.....every year but I find myself crying myself to sleep thinking about my tactical helim I let go.
I think the Gridlock riser was a gorgeous design! I never did have a Heli-m but I had a Z7 & a Creed and loved them! I turned down a helluva deal on a signature series Heli-m and am kicking my own a$$ over that one. SMH...
You really don't see a lot of talk about the Creed. I think it shoots so smooth and is really a sleeper in the mix of bows. I think because it is slower than most people want, it just got skimmed over. But for hunting it really is a great setup.
I have a Heli M. I love this bow, I will keep it forever. I just got into bow hunting in 2012, the heli m is what I bought. never have shot anything else, however I am in the market for a new bow. going to turn the heli m into a turkey bow only.
I'm curious to why weight is such a big deal to people? Are you guys doing mountain hunts or all day 3D shoots? Those I can understand a concern about weight but for just practicing in the yard and hanging it in a tree stand, why is weight such a big deal? I'm taking my Halon loaded with a HHA, full quiver, and a tactacam to MT on an elk hunt and never thought twice about the weight, let alone for whitetail hunting from a tree... Personally, I would gladly take an extra pound for more speed and a more quiet and smooth bow. Just my thoughts
I agree with you. I have a friend that always took pot shots at my no cam because of the weight. He shoots some nitrogen filled Hindenburg weighed in oz and then puts 32lb of stabilizers on it to lessen the hand shock and be able to hold on target. Math, how does it work...?
