With the crazy rain / flooding we've had the past couple days, the water came up enough to float our blind out of the buck brush jungle! Now we don't have to build new. Just brush up and minor repairs.
Cledus - Bowhunting.com Forums(1633953) on Vimeo I don't have any private areas where I can waterfowl hunt, so not a lot I can do to get ready. However, I did pick up a new buddy a few weeks back and have been diligently working with him on basic skills. He's a fast learner, so I am hoping he becomes a good retriever someday! VimeUhOh
I applied for a few different spots of lottery only hunting spots in IL. Hoping I get a few days out of it. Any one in IL have any experience with these places?
Spent the past few days painting the outside of the new (to me) boat. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I still have to get a blind and do some interior work but it should be ready in plenty of time to rock and roll on October 8th Few pics.
Just picked up 47 shells off Craigslist for $250, they need a little paint but should fill out the spread nicely! Im pumped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a dozen of those I use with motion stakes. I like em and they look good and I kill **** over them. My only ***** is be careful when you assemble the heads, they like to chip a little.
Look great! Re did some floaters that look very similar! Rattle cans? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Thanks! Yup good ol' krylon "camouflage"! Tan, brown, black and flat white. Yours look sharp! You'd probably be surprised to know that this was my first ever attempt to paint decoys hahaha! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haha same here on the paint and being first timer! I just hope they hold up even though they won't get used a ton. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
Oh no! Are you married? I hope not! Lol The waterfowl disease is unlike any other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
