Josh checking in from SW Ohio! I'm 30, married, father of an almost 2 year old daughter, and work in forestry. I put up 178.5 points last season and recently added 300 acres in Adams Co. to my arsenal. I don't have any monsters on cam yet, but I'm hopeful they will start showing up soon.
I guess I never made my check in official. Lol I'm Stuart from Nebraska. I'm 42 and this will my 3rd season of bowhunting deer. I wish I had discovered bowhunting 20 years ago. Oh well, better late than never.
How did everybody do last year? I shot my biggest buck yet and put down a nice doe before the wife grounded me for the season.
I got a doe and a buck last year but I failed to recover the buck. Got really poor penetration from a DRT broadhead and had no arrow or blood trail to follow. The doe I put down with a Wasp Drone and she only went about 50-75 yards and piled up in an open field. Easy peasy for tracking there.
I got this guy on December 28th my biggest buck yet. He ended up going 156. But, you are only allowed one archery tag in ND so no doe for an adder.
*** Team 14 Official Thread *** This is my first year in the contest and my first time hunting a new patch in western IL. I'm going to try real hard to get a buck and doe this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I took a doe from both PA and NY w/ a bow last year and a nice buck from both states w/ a rifle. Am I allowed to say rifle?
Kfili checking in! Im in VA, first contest, second year bowhunter. Last year I got a buck and a doe, looking to do at least as much damage this year. I have a good long season with urban archery all the way through late archery so hopefully I can capitalize!
I have not shot a deer in a couple of years. I am going to Kansas in November for a hunt. I go every year and always hold out for the giant that never comes. This year I will plug a doe early in the trip. Don't know how much hunting in Maine I will be doing, been extremely busy with work.
You are allowed to say "rifle" only if a pro-archery disclaimer is included in the statement. Example: I shot a deer with my rifle but I wish it had been with my bow. Hahaha, just kidding. If it's legal than it's good with me.
Hey everyone! I'm just checking in. My names jordan, I'm 24, from southern Illinois, been bow hunting since I was 15 so going strong for 9 years and counting! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
