    Guys
I have two blood-tracking doxies, Ruby and Amber. Ruby is well-experienced and Amber is in training. We will track bow-only hits in Charles, Calvert, and St Mary's Counties (no fee!). Outside this area, you can call and hope you are lucky, but don't count on it. I do screen calls and have other priorities (wife), so if I turn you down, don't take it personally. PM me for contact info.

Welcome, its great to have another MD guy here! Its good to know that you have some dogs, but looks like I'm out of your range. I'm up in Cecil, but there are a few guys on here that are down your way. I just hope I wont need a dog any time soon! but you never know what can happen

I walked a bunch this spring, first year I haven't found sheds on that property. Not sure if it's him but I saw a really nice 8 in the next field up the other day. If he's still alive he'll be on that place in November for sure.

I have been seeing a lot more bucks out in the fields this year, look to be a good year. I'm still hunting that property by that bridge you built over 95, and they started mining the whole thing last year and the deer about disappeared. But this years seem to back and getting a ton of buck pics this year. But I wasn't sure how good it was going to be so I jumped in on a lease down in Earlville. I went down there last week for a meeting and tell you what, its loaded with deer!

I hope your buddies do not have to call me either! I put Ruby's pic in my avatar. And here's one of Ruby's accomplishments:

Hey all. This will be my first season back in the woods since early 2000. I'll have my 12 and 16 y/o out for their first season too. They have been practicing since Christmas and can't wait to get out there. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. Especially to make their experience enjoyable.

Welcome to the site! The best thing to start is keep the hunt short and set up in a place where your likely to see a lot of deer. That helps keep there attention and from them getting bored.

Nice. I am looking to move to the eastern shore hopefully in the next year or two. Does anyone have experience hunting the WMA's. Are they crowded and such?

Went out today and did some scouting. Only saw 2 does. Didn't really see any other sign of activity. Going to check out another area tomorrow. Hopefully it will look a little more promising.

I will be out at some point this weekend. I like to shoot a doe on opening weekend but not sure I will this year, 90's are pushing the limits without a walk in.
