I've never used Mossy Oak's..did run the trophy rock a while back and seemed to do pretty well. Usually I just go to the feed store and get a bag of di-calcium phosphate, standard trace minerals, salt, some baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) and something to add some aroma to it...

Yeah the trophy Rock never worked when I used it last year the deer would just go right by it. I'm using now do-calcium phosphate, trace minerals salt, stock salt with digging up 3ft by 3ft spot. I just wanted to had something to it so I will try a Mossy Oak BioLogic BioRock Rock.

I have used them before. They eventually get used up. I went to Trophy Rock because it was a dollar a lb vs 10 dollars for like a 2.5 lb rock. I think they like it better after the rain because they dig up the area around it.

I've been doing the same for years without the baking soda. I may have to try that next year.

I got a bunch on clearance one year after Christmas. The deer in Virginia seemed to favor them and dug holes in the ground once they had dissolved into the soil. North Carolina dint seem to care for them much until I dumped molasses over them.

Never touched mine 2 seasons ago. Never bought another one. But it is my experience that deer in different places act differently towards certain things. They might tear yours up.

I just put one of the biorocks out last night. Hopefully the deer will use it. We shall see. This is my first time using one. I have always used mineral salt, table salt and brown sugar.
