The first two photos are from the 2015 summer. This is the first year he showed up on camera, he was a frequent visitor during the summer and he ended up disappearing for most of the season but then returning in January. My buddy and I found his sheds pretty close to where he hung out all summer. The last picture is from this summer, hoping its him but kind of bummed to see that it doesn't look like he got a lot bigger, maybe just taller and a bit more mass. It's still early though Same buck?
I thought the face looked similar but it's hard to tell if the base is coming out of the right side of his head like last years pictures.
It's hard to tell, it sure looks similar in the face and nose. Hopefully you get another picture of him here soon to compare the rack to last year.
If you could get a pic this year from the same month as last year, you might be able to see more similarities. I don't think this years rack has developed enough yet to tell for sure. Blessings........Pastorjim
Here are his sheds... Went out and drove around the property tonight.. Just confirmed that he is indeed still alive! I believe that if he survives one more year he will really be something special... My guess is he is a 3 YO this year.
Double throat patch, did the buck from last year have it? Have any pics from last year showing his chest in the daylight? If I could make out his right brow tine in that last set of pics I'd feel more comfortable saying yes.
