I found a recipe awhile back for homemade scent killer spray. It seemed to work well for me, just as good as the commercial overpriced stuff. I found this from qdma.

    16oz hydrogen peroxide
    16oz distilled water
    1/4 cup baking soda
1oz non scented shampoo(like the green scent a way soap)

Mix all ingredients and pour into a plastic milk jug. Only stir the mix and try to avoid shaking it. Let the cap sit loose for 2 days so the chemical reactions have time to release gases and your good to go! Worked for me.

It takes a few mins to make and can be made with stuff you probably already have in your house.

I have used this, I don't like the white residue it leaves behind when it dries.

The white residue is the only drawback but it works just as good best I can tell. Maybe I use too much but it runs into a lotta money for me. I make a gallon or 2 at a time. I use more at work than I do in the woods. I'm an underground coal miner and high rubber boots are needed, and 10 hours in them equal wet sweaty stinking feet, but rub em inside with a wet rag of this stuff, and blow dry, and they're scent free, at least for a while.

I use a scent spray on my clothing when I go out in the morning. One bottle usually lasts the season for me. Otherwise, I just use regular old detergent without any perfumes. Put em in a plastic bag and I'm done. This can be one of the most expensive hobbies or sports you could ever get into if you let it. I spend minimally on this stuff and play the wind.

    Heres another good recipe.

    3/4 gallon of water
3 garlic clovers chopped up real fine and mixed in the water
half cup of 87 octane gasoline ( make sure to get only 87 as 89 wont work)
Then top off the gallon jug with a little Dawn dish soap. (preferably the apple kind)

Shake it up and its ready to go right away!

I don't know about this as a scent spray, but the same recipe works very well on dogs which have been sprayed by skunks.
