At Morgan street brewery in downtown St. Louis. Anyone been there before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
First beer is a black bear lager. It's a very dark beer but it doesn't taste as dark as it looks. A strong coffee flavor. I'm enjoying it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you're still in STL you should look into side project brewing company, perennial artisan ales, and 4 hands brewing company. They are all pretty awesome IMO.
We left already but it's a pretty easy drive over so I'm sure I'll be back there a couple times at least this summer. I'll be sure to check some of them out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No photos but went to Petoskey Brewing in northern MI for my birthday this past weekend, had the Horny Monk Belgian Dubbel and their Brain Freeze Waffle Cone Raspberry Cream Ale, the cream ale can sneak up on ya very easily lol.
Had a solid session with one of my good buddies last night. I can see why abraxas is so hyped. It's one of the best non BA stouts I've ever had!
I picked up some Pivo Pils, Wookey Jack, Double Jack and Brown Shugga Sub. Should keep me good for the long weekend.
The new alchemist brew pub opened in Stowe last week...and today I made the trip! It was epic as expected, the place is like willy wonkas chocolate factory, but instead of chocolate, they've got really ridiculous hoppy brews. Free focal banger, heady topper, and crusher samples while you wait in line for mixed cases. I highly recommend making the trip! We topped off the day with dinner at the prohibition pig and a hike up to a sweet waterfall in Stowe, VT
Well it's National IPA Day and I don't have an IPA to drink lol. The local brewery did however put on a new APA called Jucy that is pretty good. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
I was told that as I get older, I'll care more about how my beer tastes. But for now at 21, it's a Busch Light weekend.
Well I've got a vacation scheduled in October where my wife and I will be going to Savannah, GA for a few days and then heading to Charleston, SC for a few days. We'll be driving right by Atlanta so I'm hoping the timing works out to where I'll be able to pick up some Creature Comforts. Savannah doesn't look to have any big name breweries but I'm hoping to come across some good local stuff. While we're in Charleston I plan on heading over to Westbrook brewing. There's also a new brewery that should hopefully be open to the public by the time we go that has a brewer that made beers for Trillium and Tired Hands that looks promising.
