Trial - was back home last weekend and found a new brewery that opened a few miles from my Dad's farm in Hebron, NY. It's called RS Taylor and Sons. They had a top 5 IPA that I've had anywhere. They just opened a few weeks ago and are in the middle of nowhere but if you feel like an adventure it's a great spot and I'd highly recommend. Brewery serving Saratoga, Salem, Upstate, NY | Craft Microbrewery
Had a new brewery open up in the town I live in a couple weeks ago. For the most part their beers are pretty average but this IPA is fantastic! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
I like it. Hint of Burbon and not overly boozy. Holds up great after the pour and is solid through the whole glass.
Well today was nice. 20 pounds of fresh Maine lobster, Kansas backstrap on the grill. Heady topper and sip of shine all up in my face! Cheers, and thank you veterans for defending the liberty of our great nation
I finally got to try Mexican cake from Westbrook...more chili forward than I was expecting, delicious, but possibly overhyped Other brews from the sipping sesh included *****es bank from some obscure brewery in Indiana, think boozy liquid fudge brownies. Lastly, new glarus raspberry tart. Slightly sweet, super jammy raspberry flavor, and minimal tartness. Out of the three *****es bank was the highlight. Cheers!
I just scored a few bottles of that...it doesn't rank super high on untappd but everyone I know who's sipped it, enjoys it. I may to crack one. How do you think it'd age?
I wouldn't be afraid to put a bottle or two up. However I would drink one first and make a personal decision. It's pretty smooth for such a high abv ..not sure aging will get you much.
