Congrats on the youngun! Don't blink because once you do they will be grown and gone. I got a couple more rainy days to get past this week. I hope to go out Friday and/or Saturday before the next front comes through on Sunday.
Dad and I went and hunted a farm we haven't hunted in a while and I got out the ole scattergun since my bow is out of commission and got this big guy. 1 1/4 spurs 25.4 pounds 10 1/4 beard. Crazy hunt.

Great night spoiled by some farm work being done. Can't blame them. Saw 5 gobblers and 6 jakes. 7 hens and some other hens that I'm positive were over the hill and couldn't see. Birds were on both sides of me and it looked like they were interested in each other. Then a tractor came to the back of farm spreading anhydrous. The tractor did have a Jake scared and running right towards me. He ducked into the woods at 56 yards. Pretty fun to watch. None of them were fanning out though. I like seeing that. I noticed my buss cable is starting to fray. I'm out until I can get a new set of strings installed. Blind gone, uncooperative weather, bow problems, if it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
