Here is a condensed version of a review I have been working on. Hope it helps for those that might be looking into the BT-X this year ontarget7 Custom Bow Tuning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great review, I love my BT-X. I'm shooting axis right now but ordered some VAP elites to try out. If I remember right I though I saw you're review on AT and you switch to an accutouch correct? Or was it a Black Gold? Maybe neither I'm not sure. Sweet rig though!
I might look into them once they figure out how to make limb's! Until then I will shoot other brands that have limb's I don't worry about coming apart every time I pull back.
LOL !! I don't worry one bit since I have owned many with zero issues . I just kill critters and hit what I'm aiming at
So do I:p Unfortunately I was there when one was unboxed at My dealer's and the limbs had already come apart in the box!! I was thinking hard on the BT-X, I was actually there shooting the demo model. Until I seen that and knowing Bow-Techs past limb troubles I took a pass. Great technology but until they can make a set of limb's I can trust I will shoot other brands. To bad because there made right here in Oregon.
I have seen a handful of limbs fail from other manufactures and honestly, still don't think about it when buying a bow. That's just me thou. I shoot what I like and don't look back. For what it's worth, they did change their limb process shortly after the release this year. Got some pretty good Intel from the inside and quite sure things are looking up. All I know, it has the makings to be my favorite bow to date.
Great review Shane. Glad to see you over here. You'll find the people here a lot less abrasive than on AT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don't mind the keyboard Cowboys on AT . Everybody wants to have some sense of worth and some of them find it behind a keyboard. I personally don't really care, just share the info from a technical standpoint and it's there for those that want it. Life's too short, live like it's your last day and make sure your light shines through. Thanks !!
Well finally able to drop back to 100 for at least 3 arrows to check sight tape in between the wind. First two shots with the BT-X at 100 yards And my last one in 11 mph sustained wind I'm pumped to pick it up another notch in my long range groups this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for the reveiw! I'm ready to get the 28 early summer and can't wait. I've had a Carbon Knight for 2 1/2 years now and it's been great. NO complaints at all and never any failures. I'm sticking with Bowtech!
The BT-X is a sweet shooter, enough that I have two of them. Bowtech BT-X @ 100 yards on Vimeo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
