Regardless of what you have gotten away with in the past, you have to have a shipping license to ship alcohol with UPS. Individuals cannot ship without one.
Can't believe my podunk liquor store actually had this, limited to one but hey - beggars can't be choosers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm assuming it's bottled in a normal beer bottle right? I usually roll each individual beer bottle in bubble wrap and then put all bottles in a plastic grocery bag and tape it up. Find a box that's not too much bigger than the package of beer you are sending and make sure that you pack it tight with newspaper in that box so they can't roll around.
Yea, bubble wrap each bottle individually and I actually put all of the beer in a couple of garbage bags. If you use a box tall enough to keep the bottles vertical it will help eliminate some of the sloshing sound as well. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Yes, you are indeed correct. I half assed packed my first attempted shipment and some of it broke during transit. I got a call from UPS at the destination location informing what I did was against their policy and that I had 24 hours to personally pick it up or it would be destroyed. She made it clear that only I could pick it up. Yeah, like I am gong to drive 20 hours one way for $30 worth of beer. I told her to let the drivers and dock workers enjoy it on me. She didn't share my sense of humor.
Sanctification is the act or process of acquiring sanctity, of being made or becoming holy. "Sanctity" is an ancient concept widespread among religions. I am now a Saint. This is beyond excellent if you enjoy sours. Blond, beautiful and perfect.
Gave the Smashed blueberry a try tonight. Not sure how to review a beer lol but right when I opened it I got a good smell of blueberries. The head on this beer threw me off. I almost had it over flow. After drinking it I was a little surprised, the blueberry was a little subtle than I expected but it was still there. Overall an enjoyable. Probably one of my favorite beers so far in the handful of different ones I've tried. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Flying in to KC today for 16 days of Flyfishing, shed hunting, and turkey hunting...I've got about 120 nice wines and 80 or so beers in the cellar...I betcha I'll be tapping into some goodies over the coming days! Cheers!
I'd love to get into aging beers. Problem is that I can't leave them alone... I have 2 left of the 4 pack of KBS that I would love to tuck away but they are so good that they wouldn't last a month....
Been out of the loop banging out 100 hour weeks at work the last few weeks...anyway I am off till Monday. Maine Brewing continues to impress. Mean Old Tom
Beer just doest taste good to me tonight. Guess I will try one more. If it doesn't work I think I will switch to Scotch
Spent the weekend in Austin. Hit up Blue Owl Brewery and Jester King. Even if you don't like the style of beer that Jester King offers (although I don't know why you wouldn't), it really is just an awesome place to spend an evening if the weather is nice. It's a working ranch and just an overall beautiful farm. Lots of picnic tables under big oak trees. I got lucky enough to be there right when they were releasing their collab with Side Project, Intersection of Species. Drank a lot of that, plus some Funk Metal, Ol Oi!, and Autumnal Dichotomous.
First time having KBS. Definitely a solid imperial stout. I don't think I'd age it with the mindset that the coffee flavors would be gone and it'd mostly be all chocolate. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Anyone tried this? Saw it today and bought it but I've never heard of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tried a couple new IPA's tonight. Wasn't blown away by either, pretty average. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
