Tom that is unreal....good story behind a legendary haul...love it...good for the both of you....I have searched and searched to get ahold of russian river supplication...dfh 120...heady topper...hop drop and roll and zombie dust all to no avail....those would be my tops to some day get ahold of....as far as favorites go for me dfh 60 or 90 is up there and I also enjoy southern tiers ipa line...they have a seasonal pumking that I'm obsessed with also

I been there a few times. Their imperial stout was excellent as was their Baltic porter. It's not very hard to come buy in NY as several places carry it, surprised to hear it has made rounds down your way

Tom that's a tough question...but best beer for me needs to be categorized.

Best hoppy brew-hill farmstead double citra hands down no comparison.

Best stout-evil twin double barrel Jesus

Best sour-Crooked stave nightmare on Brett

    Things I'd like to try-

    Anything from J Wakefield brewery

    Mexican cake from Westbrook

    Barrel aged abraxis

And something from the "a night to end all dawns" series or its variants

I also want to try anything I can get my hands on from toppling Goliath. Especially their stouts. Their hoppy brews I want to go to the source for FRESHIES . I hate old hops.

Cross this off the list of beers I've been meaning to try forever. Love it though - very complex.

Had the Surly Over Rated last night and I wasn't a big fan. Probably my least favorite of the 3 I've had so far from Tom. I'll rank them all once they are finished which will probably be tomorrow

Yep, solid New England hoppy brews! Green was my first treehouse brew. They're hard to come by right now since their popularity is crazy, but definitely a world class brewery! Literally tastes like hoppy alcoholic fruit juice. The S&S #6 was a lot better than #5. It's a single hop mosaic beer, phenomenal. In my opinion, hill farmstead is still the best here. Cheers!
