Any of you guys know where they are manufactured? I was told a few years ago that they were made in Mexico. I emailed them a month or so ago asking about this but received no response.

If this is in the wrong section, please to the appropriate section.

Gold tip NOT MADE in USA. In my experience GT will not answer that email. Call them and they have to tell you.

EASTON made in USA. Look at both websites. GT say ZERO about where they are made. That tells me right there.

Easton has it clear as day: This product was made in the USA.

Anybody else other than Easton/Beman made in the US?

I wonder about Carbon Express since some models are sold at Walmart.

Mexico or not I'll take the durability of a gold tip over an Easton any day.

Take an Easton arrow, spin it on a spinner and then flex it really good. As if you're checking for cracks really well and then put it back on the spinner. It may surprise you....

You'll be second guessing the old adage of how carbon won't bend. I used to believe it as well.

I could go into detail about where this runout comes from and why it happens but it's not all that important.

Easton makes a VERY consistent and accurate arrow though. They honestly will spin more true and have a more consistent spine throughout a brand new dozen than any other manufacturer. With some work, the Gold Tips will come close. Easton will never be on the same level as GoldTips when it comes to durability (unless they undergo a process change)

Once I moved from aluminum to carbon arrows I went to Gold Tip. I bought all the one a shop around here had when they went to Made in Mexico. All the ones I have are Made In USA. I've always had really good luck with them.

I had a dozen GT Velocity Pro 300. They break way easier than the Axis 300 I have, by far. Maybe the Mexicans making them were having a bad day. But that is why we have choices. I choose Easton.

Your example is comparing a thin walled very lightweight shaft to a very thick walled micro diameter shaft between the Easton and Gold Tip. That's like comparing crash test results between a Ferrari and a Suburban. For an apples to apples comparison you should test Gold Tips Kinetic Chaos next to your Axis arrows, or Easton Lightspeeds vs. GT Velocity Pro's.

You should also check where the specific Easton shaft you are shooting was made…… Last time I looked many of them were being made in Mexico and some were made in the USA. Easton Lightspeeds which are comparable are made in Mexico as well.

There's a direct comparison to your axis. The guy also mentions the "fillers" or white stuff in the Eastons. That's what I was referring to earlier with the run out

Victory appears to be a US company but there is no mention on their website as to location of manufacture.

Everyone needs to remember MOST if not all carbon manufacturers are outside the US.

Maybe if we elect Trump they'll all be made in the USA lol

Easton carbon shafts made in Indiana or Utah. Look at Easton website. Pick a shaft and it will say Made in USA on that page. OR call Easton.
