Checking in, glad to be on the team, I'll do my best. I think that actually falls in line with Yoda's teachings: "Do or do not, there is no try." I'm a Padawan learner so glad we have a jedi on the team.
Checking in. Lets hope some stars align here. Been scouting a little and seeing some birds around. Season here in Mn with a bow goes the whole length of it this year, so that is pretty cool. April 13th can not come soon enough!
Season starts in my area this saturday. Gonna try to get a hunt in before work on sat. But then again only working 10 days a month does give me more time to get in the field. Looking forward to getting my first archery bird.
April 4th through May 31st in KS and April 18th through May 8th in MO. We have a ways to go before any season here on either side of the state line.
Yee Haw! Checking in boys! Gonna be a good year I hope. And we got Covey!!!!! Sweet! Any thoughts on a team name?
HAHA!!!! That's funny! There are more turkey than deer running around my neck of the woods so I have that going for me. I'll put one on the scorecard for us for sure. Season opens 3/26!
Yeah we also have more turkey than deer and we have a buttload of deer. If all else fails, I just drive across one of the fields in high gear in the polaris ranger and worry about picking the feathers out of the grill later.
Checking in.. Haven't even looked to see when opening season is here in PA and have never got a turkey with a bow. All new to me, hopefully I can pull my weight lol.
Welcome to the team Nate. No worries, this will be my first yr to take a turkey with a bow as well. Hopefully.
I hear they're adding non-typical turkeys to the new PA expansion, you should be a safe bet for a 300incher, LOL.
Trevor, I live in the North Metro, how about you? Sure wish we could these city birds here, seeing lots on a daily basis, but they are all untouchables.
This will be my third year hunting turkey with a bow. Killed my first one during deer season last year.
Checking in from Maryland, our season runs from April 18 – May 23. Wishing I was back home in Tennessee though, my parent's place is covered up in turkeys.
