It's 12 not 18, but I get your point. I like them as a secure hand grip for the ladder to stand transition.
I like the fact that they are so light. I hate carrying in those big ladders. A few straps don't seem like such a big deal. I also like not having to worry about some piece of gear accidentally hitting my ladder and sounding like a gong. Standing on these things feels like your on a platform not a ladder.
Reminds me of the stepp ladder that I think was made in the 90's. I would rather buy the original than this.
Just another attempt at reinventing the wheel. You would spend half the morning/evening setting those things up. What a joke!
I was just looking into these after I saw a fb post, and while I see a very practical use for them, I don't think it justifies spending $150 for one set.
