Just checking. How are you liking them. Kinda wishing I had a 7 instead of a 6. Anyone wanna trade?:D
I shot a 6 the other day set at 60# & 28". It felt more like was pulling 70#. Didn't care for that feeling. So I'm on to looking for another 30" ata bow. It was quite & shock free. But the clown there gave me 31" Easton fmj in a 300 spine & tried to make me believe that it would just as quite & as a 350gr arrow out of the same bow.
You thought the halon at 60 felt like 70? I pulled it as well and it feels nothing like 70lbs and was very smooth, no hump and felt like a 60 lb bow..
I have an HTR and it's been a blast to shoot from day 1. Easy to draw, very forgiving and accurate. I have a 27" DL and super speed is not my goal. It's a great, easy to shoot bow.
I just got my Halon 6. It took me awhile to decide between the Halon 6 and the No Cam HTX. Very happy with my halon though
I have the Halon 6, I love it. I was trying to get as much speed as possible with a heavy arrow. I shot 291fps with a 10.2GPI arrow, 100fr. Field tip, 70lbs, and a 29' draw.
I thought it was tough. It doesn't pull anything like my Chill R & it's maxed out. Now once got past the hump it felt great.
That's nuts. Mine only hit 290 fps. With 28" 70 lbs, and a 396 grain arrow Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
I didn't feel like the bow was hard to pull. The one at my shop is 67 lbs and I thought it pulled easier then my bow at 60.
