    Thank you, but no those are from this year. Early August on the velvet pic and early November on the hard horned pic. When I first got him on cam without the velvet I thought it was two different deer as well until I looked again.

    I agree. The velvet deer is a different deer than the hard how deer. Beams are a dead give away. Brows are also a little different. Also the g2 and 3 are different on the deers left side....

    Either way who cares. That's s great buck

    Yep, the left main beam on the velvet buck curls inward, unlike the same beam on the hard antler buck.

    After going back through photos I think you guys are right, the deer I killed has a split left ear and the velvet buck does not. I hadn't had this deer on cam all year until November then, but I'm fairly certain it's the exact same deer I was after last year.
