Long story short, I've been frequenting bowhunting.com for a while now but am an active duty soldier who has been stationed in Germany for the last 3 years. Finally made it back stateside and am currently stationed at Ft. Carson in Colorado. Haven't been bowhunting for a hot minute and am looking to get a jump start on next season. Anyone here located near the Colorado Springs area with a decent knowledge of the state land around here? Excited to get back at it and any bit of advice helps! Thanks in advance!
My brother was stationed there for several years. Maybe check into elk hunting on base. He said they move around to whatever artillery ranges aren't being used at the time. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
That should make it a little easier haha. I've never hunted elk before but am excited to give it a shot. As far as deer go though do you know if he was ever able to get on some whitetails while he was out here or is it mostly Muley's?
I never really asked him about deer. I just enjoyed hearing about the elk Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
