    Wasn't terrible dark but spotty forsure! Search for about 6 hrs. Going to go back out in a few again!

    I thought I was right behind the shoulder but my arrow was pretty clean and was about 6 feet to the left from where I was aiming like it got deflected! It was in the same line I was aiming! Don't get it

    Arrows hit things inside so you can't always count on that.

    Any smell to the blood on the arrow?

    Looks like a liver shot to me. It is a lethal shot but can take some time. With it being nice and cold out and since you didn't have any bad smell like you hit the stomach I would just back off and let him have plenty of time to expire since you shouldn't have to worry about spoiled meat. Just lay off for a while and make sure you give your self the best chance you can for a recovery.

    Well thanks for your help! With everything all said and done I 99.9% sure he is still alive! Looking at my arrow which had very very little blood on it and the hair I assume I shot underneath and just clipped him! But I spent about 10 hours looking for him with no luck! Then I spent the money on a tracking dog and he didn't have anyluck! I guess that why it's called hunting! Still mad about the whole thing tho that was my first time I missed! But I've learn a lot about the whole situation! uploadfromtaptalk1451873924904.jpg this is hum I might just got buck fever and rushed myself never again tho least I hope not!
