Well after this crazy warm weather and hunting a new lease I can finally say I have put some brown down!!! It's been a wild year of ups and down that's for sure! It started out with me shooting my number one hit list buck in the shoulder and watching it fall out like I shot a nerf dart instead of a carbon arrow! He survived got pictures of him a week later! Then it went down hill from there I had more sits without seeing a deer than I the total number of deer I had seen. As you can imagine that takes a toll on your confidence as a hunter! To shake my confidence even more I had spooked two does earlier in the season while drawing my bow back. Well hunt after hunt after hunt I was able to put all the pieces together and arrow my very first deer of the year! I sat Tuesday morning with perfect conditions cold and no wind and didn't see a single deer and with this being the final day for me being able to shoot a buck I was pretty ticked! Well I go back home and regroup and decide to head back out around 3 for the final evening sit. Like clock work at 4:45 I glass to the south of the property I have leased and catch movement it's a couple does! They're out about 30 minutes earlier than they had been all season! I knew I had a good chance at them coming back with enough light to let an arrow fly! After about 10 minutes I look back up and they're gone so i just happen to look to my left and see movement but can't tell what it is. About 15 minutes goes by and not 1 not 2 but 5 different forky bucks comes out and I'm just waiting like where's your dad! Well he never shows so my heart starts to sink again and all of a sudden from my right 2 does are coming down the cow path but decided to veer off in another direction! I'm about to hang my bow up and call it a season when out of no where I catch a doe moving through the brush! Just like the forkies did she jump the fence and heads to my corn pile and the rest is history! After all the sits of not seeing deer I have the best sit of my season and seen 11 deer in all! Sorry for the long post but figured I'd give ya the season run down!

Great job. I'm waiting on the dryer to finish drying my skivvies so I can go put my brown down as I type. I've had a season Like yours, minus letting an arrow fly at my #1 buck. At this point I'm not expecting much. Lol
