I am looking at getting a new single pin sight. I was wondering what are some good sights to go with for hunting purpose only. I was looking at HHA and Spot Hogg. I appreciate the feedback.

HHA wins here but Hogg is a really good sight just a bit heavier.

Look at Black Gold as well. You can get A lot more options with Black Gold vs HHA and they aren't the crazy money Spott Hogg is. They do look a little less refined but they are top quality as well. In any case I don't think you can go wrong.

I'm looking into single pin as well and I'm down to the same brands I like all the tech on the HHA and I real like the 2nd pin on the spott hogg Tommy Hogg sight (just in case they spook when your already at full draw) I think either way a guy goes he won't be disappointed!

I've enjoyed using each HHA I've had. Kingpin was a great addition last year.

In spring turkey I used a Black Gold Ascent single pin and for deer I used an HHA XL-5519. No real reason for switching other than wanting to try different sites. The HHA is brighter to my eye, but I like the adjustment on the Black Gold better (forward wheel vs rear slider). Both are excellent and I would use either without hesitation.

I have an HHA on 1 of my bows and really like it. I can shoot a 5 pin (on my other bow) the single pin puts them in there tighter. I can shoot really good with both, but the single pin is starting to win me over for my "go to" bow.

I had a HHA DSXL-5510 on my bow. loved the rheostat and the sight worked fine. I then went back to a multi pin sight and went with the Spot Hogg Hunter. I now have gone back to a single pin and went with the Spot Hogg Tommy Hogg. Love this sight. Especially the lock down and how quick it is to unlock the sight to adjust for yardage. No problem adjusting the sight if needed while hunting. I even practice shooting from 20 to 30 with the sight set on 20 in case I have no time to adjust. As far as weight, the Tommy Hogg is a little heavier. I do not notice the additional weight. I have a single pin and it is plenty bright also.

I think spot hoggs are a bit more rugged than hha. but either is going to be a great sight. MBG is also great just not as pretty
