I just switched to an HHA this year. HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra model # HHA DS-XL5010 .010 pin -- I like the really small pin. Aim small, miss small. Really helps out to longer distances 2" housing -- I like the large field of view in the sight 3ft of fiber -- Plenty bright in low shooting light
I looked hard at HHA, Spot Hogg, CBE, and Montana Black Gold this past offseason. Ended up having S&S Archery build me a customized 3 pin MBG Ascent. Steve Speck, the owner, was unbelievable in guiding me through the various options. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
I'm in the market as well. Hear great things on the HHA models. Cabelas has a the axcel accutouch sliders at a pretty good discount. Might be worth checking out
I switched from a multi-pin to a single pin this year. I chose an HHA King Pin and have been extremely well satisfied. Built like a tank and has made me more accurate.
I have an HHA dsxl 5519. It is very hard to imagine anything built more solid than that thing. And I will tell you from first hand experience, their customer service is top-notch! Blessings............Pastorjim
I really like the HHA sights. I personally have switched from a Spot Hogg, Hogfather sight to the HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra model. The spothog is great, but adds quite a bit of weight to my bow and can be hard to balance.
I love my Apex Covert. It has an interchangeable pin, either .10 for more target shooting, or .19 for more light when hunting. Just don't make the same mistake as I did when I started shooting a slider pin. If I was shooting low, I would move yardage up accidentally, because the lower yardages are at the bottom of the tape, but this was before I had the tape with the distances on it. So that wasn't a problem after I got it sighted in.
I have the Black Gold Ambush Ascent. I love it, easy to set up and accurate out to 100 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
In the past I had a HHA DSXL-5510. Then went to a Spot Hogg Hunter 5 pin. Now I am back to a single pin and went with the Spot Hogg Tommy Hogg. Love this sight, set up was a breeze as was the 2nd and 3rd axis. As far as weight, I do not notice any difference between it and any other sights I have had.
I personally prefer a 5 pin sight for where I hunt but I would get an HHA sight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I went with the HHA optimizer ultra lite single pin model 5019 .. It was a toss up between that one and the trophy ridge 1 pin react .. the trophy ridge comes with 2nd 3rd axis, the HHA does not, is a 20 dollar add on.
